Type Two Projects
OVERVIEW
These typography projects focus on the history and physical structure of letterforms. I completed a deep study of the Optima typeface, exploring its balance between serif and sans-serif styles through a custom poster, editorial spread, and webpage. I also created a process book that breaks down the anatomy of different letters using hand-drawn annotations to label the small details that make a font consistent. These studies show my ability to analyze complex type systems and apply them to professional design layouts.
